Learn how to massage anywhere and market everywhere, techniques to promote massage outside the box

Massage is so much more than an hour in a dark room with quiet music for relaxation or needing a special massage chair to do seated massage. And marketing has moved far beyond 2 for 1 specials and handing out business cards.  Are you making the most of your interactions with the general public? Are you seizing opportunities to educate people about massage and draw new clients to your practice?  What can you do if you are hanging out with family and/or friends and some ask you for a shoulder massage?

In this entirely new and innovative class, Greg Hurd will guide you through hands-on massage techniques that can be applied in nearly every environment and with little or no equipment. Whether you're in an office, at a baseball game, or a PTA meeting, you can adapt and give effective massages that showcase your abilities and genuine desire to help people feel better. Additionally, you will find that you can give these massages in just a few minutes or, if you have the time and desire, several minutes.  When people feel the effectiveness of your massage, they may want to get a massage from you.  How do you suggest this without making it sound like the massage you just gave them was strictly about marketing your business?

Allissa Haines will walk you through marketing skills to promote your business, and massage in general, without feeling smarmy or sales-y while enjoying paying attention to the person you are massaging and letting them know about you.  You'll also learn when it is okay to “give away” massage without devaluing your services or undermining your professionalism.

Not your typical massage demonstration and marketing lecture, this class is full of videos, demos, hands-on practice and real-life exercises. You will come away with a new perspective, fresh ideas, and the ability to apply what you've learned immediately.
