Class Description: Rhythms of the Body is a 7-hour hands-on class is a great opportunity to palpate and work with the subtle rhythms of the body: the breath, the heartbeat, the craniosacral rhythm, and other subtle rhythms. The class will be taught from a holistic manual therapy perspective that considers the therapist’s body as a sensor that is calibrated to perceive, interpret and respond to the client’s body state. Students will work with awareness of the client’s and the practitioner’s own rhythms during evaluation and treatment. Students will receive an overview of the rhythms of the body, and begin the process of learning to feel and work with these subtle and fascinating rhythms.
