The AMTA-MA Chapter Dianne Polseno Scholarship Award is offered to assist eligible students in completing their education to become massage therapists and for the advancement of their massage therapy career. There will be two recipients for the scholarship. Applicants must be a Massachusetts resident, a currently enrolled student with a graduation date in the 2019 calendar year, and enrolled in a school licensed by Massachusetts Office of Private Occupational School Education.
Dianne Polseno made her life's work about the ethical and educational advancement of the massage therapy profession. Dianne wrote a Q&A column on ethics for the AMTA's Massage Therapy Journal, taught at the state and national level, and was unwavering in her focus to improve the quality of massage.
