The AMTA-MA Chapter is a volunteer, member-focused association grounded in the promotion of education, legislative advocacy and consumer awareness. It is with these goals in mind that the Dianne Polseno Scholarship Award was developed. Dianne Polseno’s passion for research, education, and teaching massage therapists was infectious. She was a true pioneer in our field and we created this continuing education award to honor her.

Recipient Awards

1st place scholarship will be awarded to one (1) applicant to attend the 2024 National Convention in Tampa held September 12-14, 2024 (same calendar year as award). This includes airfare (up to $500), early bird convention registration, and hotel stay at one of the host hotels up to four (4) nights. Specific details will be provided to award recipient.

2nd place scholarship recipient will be awarded a registration to one (1) MA Chapter Education Class in the same calendar year as award.

This scholarship is open to AMTA-MA members except for current volunteers and award recipients within the last five (5) years.

Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be a professional member in good standing and assigned to the Massachusetts chapter.

Scholarship winners will be chosen by anonymous scholarship review workgroup and will be announced by July 27, 2024 and must be registered for convention by July 31, 2024.
