Q. What or who inspired you to teach? Do you have a massage hero? This may include someone who inspired you, instructed you, or perhaps even a recipient who may have taught you through “experiential education”.

A. I can't name anyone in particular who has inspired me to teach. However, observing other teachers such as Eric Beard made me realize how much fun and engaging teaching can be. The ones who inspire me most to teach are the recipients (i.e. patients, students, workshop attendees, etc.) who share their knowledge and thirst for more. When teaching martial arts, I enjoy teaching children because of their abundance of potential. Amongst healthcare professionals, their presence in my workshops shows their passion in their profession and their strong desire to improve themselves and their clients.
