The Assembly of Delegates Advisory Committee is now accepting submissions for 2026 Discussion Topic proposals. This is an opportunity to bring forward an issue you are passionate about, engage the AMTA community, and help shape meaningful, profession-focused conversations.

Please submit your proposal by May 20 for consideration for the 2026 Assembly of Delegates meeting agenda. Please click here for the form for submission guidelines and details. Discussion Topic Proposal Resources

Proposed Discussion Topics should invite broad discussion and gather input, not offer solutions to problems. Proposed Discussion Topics should adhere to the following:

  • Must be related to AMTA’s mission and goals
  • Must be in accordance with AMTA’s statement on discrimination
  • Must ask a broad question
  • Topics should be "Profession-Focused"
  • Must not address AMTA internal policies
  • Cannot be defamatory
  • Cannot endorse a political candidate or party
  • Cannot endorse a specific product or company
