Massachusetts Chapter Receives multiple awards at National Convention

Massachusetts Chapter leadership were in attendance to receive multiple awards at the Opening Ceremonies of the AMTA National Convention.

President Mary White accepted the National Humanitarian Award on behalf of Mass Chapter member Ed Connor. The Massachusetts Chapter was given two "Give Chapters A Hand" Awards, one each in the categories of Overall Excellence and Government Relations. Third VP Kelly Dalbec received her Chapter Meritorious Plaque from National President Cynthia Ribiero.

Mary White says of the awards, "We are so proud of all the volunteers who share in accepting these awards on behalf of our members. To be acknowledged with these awards makes us feel very proud that we are working in the right direction to serve our members."

AMTA's Distinguished Service Award was given posthumously to Dianne Polseno, and a new Lifetime Achievement Award was created in her name.
