A Comedian Teaching CPR & First Aid at IDEA 2015?

Published: April 22, 2015

Did you know that a comedian will be teaching our CPR/First Aid certification course at IDEA 2015? I honestly can't think of many educational opportunities that will be more fun and entertaining than that!

Bill Simas will be offering this program and it is designed to give our members the opportunity of receiving CPR/First Aid certification in four hours. This CPR and First Aid class is unlike any class you have taken! This class takes a subject that is serious and important and makes it easy-to-learn, while entertaining. The presenter offers his expertise in the field of emergency medicine and talent as a comedian to create a unique and memorable experience. Anyone interested in obtaining a Healthcare Provider certification for their medical services career, this class will be modified to cover those criteria as well. Please attend and let the instructor know upon arrival. You will receive a 2-year American Heart Association card (to be mailed to you after class), review CPR and First Aid (Adult/Child/Infant), review choke saving, review AED (Automatic External Defibrillator), and receive handouts.

This class will take place on Friday (5/1) morning and will be followed by our Community Service Massage Team member training in the afternoon. Register for class here!
