Dear AMTA Massachusetts Members,

We are Kelley Silva and Keli Lemoi, your two elected chapter delegates for the AMTA-MA Chapter. This August, we are honored to represent you at the 2025 Assembly of Delegates Annual Meeting on August 20, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

As your delegates, our role is to bring the voices, ideas, and concerns of Massachusetts massage therapists to the national conversation. To do this effectively, we want to hear from you!

We’re hosting two virtual video conference discussion forums over the next six weeks, and we hope you’ll join us.

These meetings are your opportunity to:

  • Learn how to submit a Discussion Topic or a Proposed Idea for a Position Statement
  • Share your feedback and insights
  • Help shape what we bring to the Assembly on your behalf

The official topics for the 2025 Assembly have been released!

Discussion Topic 1:

TRAUMA AND MT

This discussion topic proposes exploring how trauma-informed care can enhance the safety, ethics, and effectiveness of massage therapy.

Discussion Topic 2:

PEER-TO-PEER MENTORSHIP

How can AMTA revitalize its mentorship program for massage therapists? This proposal invites discussion on revitalizing AMTA's mentorship program to better support massage therapists - especially those newly licensed - by fostering structured, peer-to-peer guidance.

Thank you for being an engaged member of AMTA-MA. We look forward to connecting with you!

Warm regards,
Kelley Silva & Keli Lemoi
